My 9yr old got the new Crash Bandicoot game for his psp2001. It wanted to update the operating system to play. Needless to say, during installation, he said it locked up and he tried to shut his PSP off. When it wouldn't go off, he pulled the battery. Now when he tries to turn it on, the green power light comes on for about 10 second, the screen stays black and then it just shuts down again. Now, I don't know anything about downloading and installing new stuff, so if there is something out there to get this thing going again, I'll need some step by step instruction on how to do it. If you have an answer for me, I can give you my e-mail if that makes it easier. I used to belong to PSPBlender, it appears they are no longer in business. Is this correct? If so, I'll need to get leads on a place to download the software. I seem to remember that once when I updated the operating system for my older son to run Patapon on his PSP, I was able to download it to the memory stick and then install it. Is there a way to put it on a memeory stick and have the PSP boot up off of the stick? Then get it up and running and installed to internal memory that way? Well, as you can tell, I don't have a clue. Any help you can give me would be greatly appreciated!!!
