I have a PSP 2000 with TA-88v1 motherboard. I needed to find a way to use my PSP abroad, so found an article online about a mod that lets me boot the PSP on 3 AAA batteries. i made the mod, and plugged it into the PSP. It wouldn't turn on, so i took out the battery, and checked my connections, and i realised that my connections were hooked up backwards. I corrected my mistake, and put the modded battery back into the PSP, and it still wouldn't turn on. Then i put in a normal, not modded PSP battery, and the PSP still wouldn't turn on. I borrowed a battery from my neighbor and i put it in my PSP, and still no luck so i returned the battery. I plugged in the AC charger without any battery connected, and to my relief, it turns on. But the battery meter on the screen is completely wild and the power light is orange, but no battery is connected. After a while, the light turns green again, but the battery meter is still wild. So i put in my normal battery while the AC is connected, and nothing happens. I unplugged the AC adaptor with the normal battery in, and the PSP shuts off. Attempted to turn it back on, but it won't. If i ever need my pandora battery, i won't be able to use it because of what happened. Is there a way to get my PSP to boot on a battery again?
