OK, I followed "[GUIDE] Installing CFW via ChickHen on PSP-1k, 2k, 3k(all motherboards)" in the Tutorialsl Section to install GEN 5.03C to a TA-088v3 mobo since it stated that I can install CFW on all mobos (I assumed this included the TA-088v3 also).
So I activated ChickHEN, installed GEN 5.03C and everything was cool. Checking System Information and I can see that it clearly state "5.03 GEN-C (Full)". I mistakenly assumed that I was in the clear and decided to go ahead and installed GEN 5.50D3 to be able to play the newest games. Little did I know, after it flashed, the PSP now won't show anything other than the power is on, and will stay on unless the battery is removed or the AC unplugged.
So my question is, what can I do now? I should've just stuck with GEN 5.03C. I did not test if it would run any games, ISO or eboots so I don't know if that was just a fluke or what. Obviously it's too late now. Is there anyway to unbrick it back to OFW? Or do I have to wait for a solution to appear?
PS - I guess I should've read down to the part about Sedna, that's what I get for not reading through thoroughly. I guess that would mean that PSP's with TA-088v3 can only go up to 5.03 FW and wasn't possible to upgrade further. The question still remains though, are there any solutions?
