Hey guys I need some urgent help. First off i'm using a PSP Slim 2000 model, with 5.50 GEN-D3 running on it. I was playing Metal Gear Solid Peace Walker yesterday night, and this morning when I turned on my PSP, the XMB menu gets screwd up REALLY BADLY. I don't know wot the hell happened, but the screen is show pixelated lines everywhere, just like what you see on a broken TV screen. Also, none of the buttons work, i can't navigate at all in the XMB menu, i can't PRESS anything to confirm or close, NONE OF THE BUTTONS WORK.
However, if i boot into the recovery menu, then it works fine, i can move up or down and press X or Circle etc. I tried disabling all the plugins in the recovery menu, i even deleted the seplugins folder just to be sure, but this still has problems.
I have not done anything to flash0 either, and i've had no problems with GEN-D3 for the past 8 months since i installed it. And i'm sure it's not MGS:PW's problem either as i've been playing that for a week, and playing on the same missions, so it's not a new bug or anything that could've caused it.
I think there's something wrong with the idstorage, so i searched around and found this topic:
[GUIDE] Installing Despertar del Cementerio v8 - Full Nand/IDstorage Recovery
that's in one of the sections in this forum, and sorry i haven't met the post requirements to be able to post the link.
but it doesn't help. I already have a pandora battery and MMS that i made years ago, and i tested them and they still work fine, except they didn't have the DC8 installed on it, and even if it does, i can't use it since i need to access it from the XMB menu, and like i said, none of the buttons work.
I also searched around and found "Chilly Willy KeyCleaner 1.4", but again i need to use it in the XMB menu, which isn't possible for me.
Any ideas guys??
Actually nevermind, i installed DC8 on my MMS using the guide i posted above, and was able to get it working. I got confused, i haven't used this in a long time so i thought you would access it from the XMB (which is stupid coz this is suppose to help you "UNBRICK" your PSP). Well, i was able to navigate and see everything fine, I created a new iDStorage and did everything else required, but i still can't get the buttons to work in XMB menu....
