I got my 1st PSP ever today in the mail. I promptly installed M33-6. I played around with some ISO's. Then finally I tried out Dissidia, played it for an hour and a half, turned it off, took a shower, then returned to play again.
Out of no where I couldn't use Square or Circle. Since these are the attack buttons, I just assumed I was sucking so bad that the game wouldn't let me do any attacks.
Then I paused, and the music suddenly stopped, I unpaused and suddenly attack buttons work again, for some time until the same problem repeats. I thought it odd, and pressed the Home button, but it wouldn't let me make a selection. Couldn't press left or right or X, just Home to get out. And during the Home screen, the buttons I pressed, made my character make background noises.
Turned off my PSP, started Ratchet and Clank, and the camera just keeps spinning and spinning and spinning.
Turned off my PSP, turn it on, and **** starts going crazy.
Up button is constantly being held against my control.
L button, same story.
Home button stops working.
Volume button decides it wants to be loud. I turn it down, and it goes back up, pauses, and goes back up again.
X button becomes un-responsive, and appears to make random selections.
O button decides to randomly act out too.
Set the PSP down, out of my hands, and it still makes the occasions random action. Its like it has a mind of its own. A retarded mind, but still a mind.
So I break the seal (PSP out of warranty anyways) take off that faceplace hoping to find dust to clean. Nothing. All I'm able to do is polish the shoulder buttons making them transparent again and swab any contacts with alcohol and dry.
I hold R on boottup to recovery, and it freezes.
Can anyone help me out here? There doesn't appear to be anything Google has to say.
I'd hate for it to be a hardware problem because the 1st 5 hours I had the system, everything worked flawlessly.
