I bricked my PSP a while back and don't have a spare or (working) Pandora/Tool battery (or any working battery for that matter) and have been looking for a new one. I have a Datel Tool battery but I'd rather not get another after finding that the problem I had with mine is a common problem (if left sitting too long the cheap li-ion cells lose their charge so far that the charging circuit can't even power on so it can't be charged/used). I ran across PandoraSales.com and they seem to be the only other company doing Pandora batteries. Was wondering if anyone here had ever bought anything from them and whether it's likely a scam or not. Judging by the amount of "user submitted" content (reviews/forums) on the site it would seem unlikely to be a scam, but it wouldn't be the first time someone put a lot of effort into that.
My only other option would be to try and crack open that Tool battery (can't figure that out..) and try charging it directly, bypassing the charging circuit. I'd still need a new normal battery, which is why that site was appealing.. they have hard and soft mod batteries. Hard mod has a switch to turn it on/off .. but for some reason it also has LEDs. At least they're covered when in a PSP. Re-reading this I'm starting to sound like an advert.. sorry about that. Not really intentional.
