Need Support For My PSP
Okay two days ago my psp went black and now it wont turn on, well it turns on but the power button stays on and thats it the system doesnt even read the umd i have an assumption that it might be bricked but i have cfw (i have the pro b9 cfw which is temporary) i want to know if therese anyway to fix my psp, ive also tried turrning the psp on without battery inserted just turning on from the power cord.(without memory stick) and still nothing happens
ive tried everything holding the R button as im turning it on....nothing, searched youtube, google and everything and nothing so i decided to post here any help or suggestions would be appriciated :)
If recovery menu isn't working then the best thing to try is a pandora's battery to try and fix it. I'm not sure where any guides are (I sold my PSP years ago) but there should be some floating around
I had the same problem. If you haven't fixed it yet, here's what I did.
My PSP wasn't turning on. Period. It was charging properly, but wouldn't turn on. So I took it to a place that does repairs (not Sony, just one of those places that fix phones and stuff). It turned out my pads (D-pads? Motherboard? Dunno) were fried, and I had to get them replaced. Don't remember the cost. It's worked fine since then. If your PSP just stopped working one day, as in, you didn't mess around with anything that might have screwed it up, this might be your problem.
Hope this helps.
