8011030B - Load failed.

I got that as an error code within one of the games. (50 Cent:Bulletproof) The game save files are being read by the save game utility though.
(Maybe loading failed in game opposed to XMB or elsewhere?)

I fixed it by cleaning out the MS slot, and cleaning the MS contacts.

I just used Pandora to un-brick one of my PSP's. Now I have 1.50 and wanted to have my back-up PSP be "Official" but when I try to upgrade to 3.72 or 3.51 (via UMD) I get a Configuration error. Has anybody received this message before and if so what did you do to fix it?

The exact wording is as follows:
The System configuration of the PSP system does not appear to be correct.
The update cannot be completed.
Contact technical support for assistance.
(DRNFFFFFFCD)

Thanks for the help.

sadly you can't go from 1.5 to 3.51

go to 1.5 to 2.xx then to 3.71

Ok so I took your advice and upgraded 1.50 to 2.71 to 3.11 now I cant seem to get past 3.11...3.30, 3.51 and 3.71 all cause the same error message to pop back up.

Is there something that I am missing...It is easier to downgrade and use custom Firmware than the Sonyware.

You have a TA-082 or TA-086 PSP which was downgraded to 1.50. The idstorage keys were patched to allow it to run 1.50. This message is the result of that. To upgrade to official firmware, you'd be best off using Pandora... though why you'd want to I don't know.

Did you, by any chance, modify your MAC address?

While trying to download the APE QUEST freebie I get the following error:

That is not a PSP error. That is an error with the Downloader program. You'll have to restart the download all over again, sadly. It's a common problem, and Sony prefers watching their customers suffer.

Apparently this is a new one. I get it when I try to play Wipeout Pulse online (with a UMD), after filling in my name/password for PSN.

"An error has occurred. You have been signed out of the PlayStation Network. (80550502)"

It's not really a PSP system error, though.

I'm just curious, how do you know? Because it says PSN, or something to do with the number itself? It looks like all the other numbers to me.

It has to do with PSN I would assume. The PS3 gives the same error when I unplug my router.

Like Adiuvo said, it's both for the PSP and the PS3. That means it's something related to the PSN, not the PSP itself.

Interesting. So just as a test I tried logging in to PSN through the PSP browser and it logged in fine. I wonder what it could be then.

Is that supposed to be sarcasm?

Something related to Wipeout Pulse's connection to its PSN server.

No it wasn't sarcasm at all, I'm really trying to figure this out. Apparently other people are playing online, so I don't know why I would be any different.
