I recently got my psp, and after playing the game i got with it, i decided to check out a few homebrew programs. I wanted to try HTTPD, FTPD, and the new PVNC, but to do this, i needed to configure my network problem.
Now, i have a linksys WRT54GS and all our PCs connect correctly with it. I wanted to connect my psp with it. I put in my WEP key, default router, primary and seconday dns and subnet mask, which i all got from my router status screen. also i put in the ip address, where i only changed the last 3 digits in the ip. now i know all these are correct, and i set my router to take both the b and g band. when i test my connection, i get a signal strength of 1%, and it says internet connection - failed. The problem is, even if i put the psp right next to the router, the signal strength still doesnt change, and all the programs using the wifi technology does not connect. My question is, am i forgeting to put something in the psp network setting, or in the router settings to make the psp connect to the network. TIA
