For quite sometime, I was not able to connect my PSP to PC with error message stating: "USB device not Recognized. Windows and/or PC does not recognized the USB device you connected..." Then I was able to find a patch or update from ALi for my USB card (4 port USB 2.0). The error message do not appear anymore but still the PSP is not recognized, I can't connect my PSP under normal windows operation. Then one time I tried to connect my PSP when troubleshooting my PC running windows XP in SAFE mode. The PSP/memory stick was detected, needed driver installed. My PSP can connect to my PC already but only when running windows in SAFE MODE whereein other applications do not run. It's tiring already. I was hoping someone could advice me what's really the problem, provide information, and give me some work around or solution.
PC Pentium III 550 MHz processor, 256 MB memory, 4 port USB (USB 2.0), Windows XP Service Pack 2.
I have other USB device working: Bluetooth and my mobile phone memory stick recognized as mass storage device.
Thanks a lot. Any help would be appreciated. :icon_smil
