iTunes RSS Server - Mac OS X
I created a simple application that runs in the background that initializes the itunes-rss-server.pl Perl script that was release a while ago... This application makes it much easier to run the script since you don't have to open the terminal and leave it open while the server is running.
You do, however, need to make sure the script at least runs on its own (update all Perl/CPAN modules required).
Once that is done, you may use this application to start the server, which will run in the background. If you want to stop the server, simply end the process in the Activity Monitor or use the terminal.
To see if the server is running correctly, run the application, then go to http://localhost:8080 in your web browser... if you see your iTunes playlists, then it works, and you can access this page via your PSP's Internet Browser, just replace localhost with your computer's internal IP address (i.e. 192.168.2.110). Once there, click on "Reload music library", then add the RSS feeds you want to have on your PSP.
With the release of firmware 2.7, you may download the songs that you stream from the RSS channels to your PSP.
