Default Release JBG Flash Pack (2.7 Only)

Download here:
http://download.yousendit.com/9D0C20DC5422CAC7

From the included readme:

Quote:
Allright with the recent release of 2.7 a new and wonderous thing came to Sonys little handheld that could,
Flash 6 (yes I know there is Flash 8 and Flash 6 is reallllly old). The only problem is that most websites that have the flash animations we love and watch on our PCs or MACs can have to much Flash that they burden the PSP and cause the site to not be accesible. But there is a cure. As in this pack you can save the Flash you wish to view on your PSP to your mem stick and launch it any place any time. That is what this pack does and simplifies it against you having to type in each movie/game to an easy index.html page.

Install notes:
Drag and drop included folder to the root of you memory stick.
Open up your PSPs 2.7 Web Browser and type:
file:/hs/index.html (Bookmark it for quick access later on)
And choose what you wish to view.
Once the Flash is over or you wish to watch something else simply press L to go back to the main page

If you have any other animations or games you would like to see please make a request in the offcial JBG Flash Pack Thread on the PSPUpdates Forums.

Release History
v.001 4/26/2006
2.7 Came out yesterday and people where asking does this and that work and I saw lots of homestar runner compatability questions come up so I used that as a start.
No pics or GFX yet cause our HTML guy is busy with some school work.

Upcoming:
More Games and Flash Animations
More Organization/Some Basic HTML Graphics instead of text Menu

JBG is:
Lupin
Sentry 420
Doomed

Note all included Flash files are IPs of their respective holders. Unless otherwise noted none of these are orginal creations by any member of the JBG team.

yeah that was just to show how poorly games work on the PSP the thing is most Flash games that are passable on the PSP have already been made in Java and run better on it in previous HTML packages,

Request: N

http://media.ebaumsworld.com/swf/n-game.swf

Don't worry too much about an interface, it will make it bloated... you could just seperate animations and games

Sony Boj if you wish to add your own flash you will have to open the index.html in note pad and add this line of code
<li><a href="SPECIALFEATURES/name.swf">What you want displayed when you click></a></li>
make sure you put it in the special features folder and of course replace name.swf with your flash file and What you wan displayed... to the name of the episode you understand?

lacrymist im not sure what you are saying, when i clicked on that link all I saw as a very complicated game that im sure is at least flash 7 or 8 what animations where you talking about just? That begining demo?

yeah thers that too. I figured that if it ever made it to the front page (it did) they would catch that (they didnt) Next release Ill make sure I make a note. But, idk if the file assitant one works with certain ones or not. IE the intereactive ones that ask you to push play or the games.

UPDATE:
JBG Flash Pack v.002 Old Skool Style is now out
Link:
ftp://ftp.junknews.net/JBG%20Flash%2...ol%20Style.rar

Update Histoy:
v.002 (Old Skool Style) 4/26/2006
We decided that we want the look of the graphics verison to be more refined then we orginally had planned so it may take longer then our estimated time. So we decided to release this version as a taste of what we have added and where this little project is going. You migh of noticed a larger file size (85MB) then last time. Thats why after this release we will only be including booster packs if you will and re-edited HTML coding that way you can decide what you want on your PSP and what you dont.
Note: We added so many Flash Animations that it was impossible to test each one so if you habe any problems please make a note of it in the forums. Thx and enjoy.

Also didnt know if I should make a new thread or not. Someone told me that making a new thread per release was the right avenue to go down. If not just correct it.

Great job you're doing man. Keep up the flash games/videos uploads or at least make a tutorial on how to rip them yourself

How to rip a flash:
There are many ways to do this the easiest (yet not free) is using a program called Flash Saver alongside IE
Download here http://www.flashsaver.com-http.com/
Now go to any flash site (with games they need to be very very simple) and start the flash animation.
Move your mouse around in the flash window till you see a little blue bar in the upper right hand corner of it apper. Click the Disk and then Downloaded.
The Flash is now in the default folder C:\My Flashs with the orginal file name
Put that flash in JBG folder on your PSP.
Open up the index.html in the JBG folder with notepad.
Add this line of code to the better

[HTML]<li><a href="#flash animation file name#">#Name of Flash Epiosode#</a></l>[/HTML]

Now save and your flash has been added. This is will work on v.002 and v.001 but this guide is not effective for the upcoming v.003 with the graphical interface.

Note # means its telling you what goes there do not copy that verbatim. Instead insert what applies there
