I have a few quesitons about my recently gifted PSP.
First off, its got firmware 2.5 on it, and it is brand new.
Ive only got one game, ATV offroad fury, and I have a 2GB memory card.
(game was free from someone I know)
Now, my main concern, is that with my brand new PSP, the brightness button doesnt seem to be working. I press it, I press it, I press it, but nothing happens. However, if I hold it in, it does turn off the backlight after a second or so. That confuses me, because that makes it seem like the button works fine, but the level adjustment is malfunctioning? The reason for my concern is because unless the PSP is plugged in, I cant see a damn thing because I think its on brightness leve 1. Am I doing something wrong?
Secondly, just for confirmation, but to run Homebrew, I just need to get GTA LCS correct? Then I can go from there?
Lastly, a netowrking question. I connected to the internet (through the web browser) just fine at my girlfriends house. I came home, and set up my connection, but it wont connect. I get this error: "A connection error has occured. A connection to the access point could not be established. Check the security settings for the network and try again."
The only problem is, I dont have any network encription. Theres no WEP keys or anyhting of that nature. And at the moment, two computers are connected via the Wireless network without keys of any sort. I set it up the same as I did at my girlfriends house, but it isnt working here. Also, the router is a D-Link router, and the SSID is "D-Link". Does the - symbol mess something up?
Buhh.... I think thats it for now. Any quick responses would be greatly appreciated.
