I got PVNC working great and it's an amazing little tool.. I hope in a future release for screen scaling or something.. Anyways - I'm having a problem with my mouse functions.. left and right clicker buttons aren't working.. I have to like hit the X button on the PSP to click a link like 5 times before it accepts.. or sometimes it just never accepts my clicks.. I'm using RealVNC on the host (which I feel is the most compatible version of VNC you can find out there). If it's related to having RealVNC on the host, then I guess that's my problem.. ANy ideas?

When you're trying to "click" or "double click" the PSP needs to send signals continuously for it to work but i believe it lacks the ability to do so for some reason. What you need is to hold down one of the shoulder buttons ("Left" or "Right") on the PSP while you're trying to "click" or "double click". This way you guarantee - to some degree - that the signal going out from your PSP are contiguous. Try it and you'll see that it works smoothly...
P.S.: RealVNC works perfect, and i suggest it.

using PVNC with a non-local access point

Hey just a thought here... I was wondering if there was a way to do this from another router or wireless access point. I know there was word that the TedZero browser allows you to browse your PC files from any wireless access point if you set it up correctly, but I dont know how to do that. I was wondering if anybody knew how to make PVNC allow you to connect to your computer from a non-local access point. If you could tell me, it would be great appreciated.
PVNC can connect to your PC from any access point as long as the following are provided;
1. You know the "public ip" of your computer or the router that your computer is connected to.
2. Either your computer is in DMZ (de-militarized zone) or the port 5900 (TCP) is forwarded from the router to your local PC.
3. No firewall interference, meaning port 5900 (TCP) is not blocked.
4. RealVNC or TightVNC installed, configured and running on the PC which you're trying to connect.
If all of these are set up, create a static ip infrastructure connection on your PSP then fire up PVNC. Choose the connection you created then use "new host" function to add your PC. Miracle happens...
