Ok, since I downgraded yesterday, I lost the ability to use WPA-PSK. And since I need WPA-PSK on my network, i decided to grab one of my older wireless router and see if i can set it up this way.
Now, The main Router is a D-Link DI-634M that i got recently. The second is a D-Link DI-624. I have disabled DHCP, and I set the 624's IP address to the one the 634 assigned it. BUt I can't acces the second routers configuration while connected to the first router. Only if im connected to the second router can i configure it. So I setup the wireless and all. The PSP connects. But it can't get to the Internet. Ive tried a few things, and I can't figure out how to set this up. I would have used a Switch directly from the modem, but I don't have a second Switch, and the one i have is being used. THe second router is set to take in a Dynamic IP from the WAN (I have connected the cable coming from the other router, to the WAN port instead of LAN. I should try the lan port, but I think i need a crossover cable for that, and I dont have one).Code:Modem | Main Router - Wireless with WPA-PSK | | | ----- Router #2 so i can setup WEP Access. | Switch w/ Computers and Other Wired Computers
So my 2 questions. How do can I make the second router connect to the Internet so I can get my PSP connected to the net. And this one is optional. How can I access the configuration of the second router while conencted to teh first.
Hope someone can help me out on this. THanks.
