I was messing around with CISO trying to see if I can fit all 6 of my UMDs on my 2gb Memory card. I never used CISO before, so it was new to try and see.
I started to have problems, first I wanted to back up my game saves; When I tried it said it was corrupted. I didn't understand it at all. I went back to the PSP and they were fine. I went to my movies where the RGB Pixel Fixer was and it was corrupted, it wasn't a few hours ago. I Plugged my psp back into USB and tried to enter the PSP folder, it was corrupted, went back and entered my Games and went to IR shell and tried to see if the USB would work. It didn't. I went back into USB mode and it let me into the PSP folder but everything else was corrupted. I went back and went back to my games only to find I had no EBOOTs. They all disappeared. I still had my 200gb free, so I tried and went back into USB to delete the ISOs I had and such. I deleted them and went back to the psp, I still had 200gb free. I tried going to pictures and those were corrupt, I had no idea what was going on at all; my PSP was eating itself. I fought tooth and nail alittle bit longer until the game saves were finally corrupted, and dismayed that I backed them up but the HDD I backed them up to was shot, so I had to start over completely. I formatted the memory card and went back to adding the CISO.
I used Chaos Zero's programs and added them to my PSP, along with 2 CISO files. Went to the DEVHOOK launcher and looked under UMD things, there was no selectable items. I messed around with options and then went back to USB. The PSP folder was again corrupt, and the ISOs had disappeared yet theys till took up 1.8gb of my card. I formatted again, went to USB, and tried to enter the PSP's root. It said I needed to format it on windows, and I didn't bother. I added in a normal ISO and went to DEVHOOK. Everything was normal except all the text was garbage and unreadable, and when I launched it the PSP crashed.
I then got out my original 32mb which had some manga on it. I looked at it, it was fine and I read a bit, then plugged it into usb. It worked, and I went into the pictures only to find that they were all messed up as If I was looking at them through a bad TV; some didn't even show up at all. I went back to the PSP to check, and they were fine except three of them had turned into, "JPG" folders which contained no pictures. I had no idea what that was, thought I might have skipped them and went back into USB, only to find that the entire PSP folder was corrupt.
I went back to the PSP and checked the pictures; they were find except the JPG things and then went to usb, then back to PSP. The folder was corrupt and I had no pictures. I decided to format the memory card seeing as how it was messed up.
It went through it's formatting thing and came up with an error, "Format Failed (Random letters and numbers)".
As I was offically WTF?!ed I formatted it again, and it worked.
The only thing I noticed throughout the whole endever was this MEMSTICK something files that kept showing up. Infact, I just plugged it in and they are there, "MEMSTICK.IND" 0Kb and "MSTIK_PRO.IND". These are Read Only and Hidden files. Never noticed them before but thats me.
I have no anti-virus on my system, although i'm downloading AVG Trial right now.
Anyone have ANY idea WTF is going on?
(Edit: AVG Only came up with a Java exploit 'virus'. Nothing I don't think can do this to my PSP)
