So... I dropped my PSP with the remote plugged in. This shoved the internal headphone jack sideways a bit. When I set it back from the outside (without opening the psp) it killed the sound all the way. Stripped the connections off of the wifi daughterboard.
So I opened it up. Sure enough, the connection were stripped and I have no way of fixing that apart from buying a new daughterboard.
Put it all back together, but now I have two other problems. The R-Trigger no longer works, and the analog nub reads as going down and to the right as if it isn't callibrated correctly. Both of these parts look all right, and I can't see any reason as to why they wouldn't be working. I've taken them apart, cleaned them, everything several times. Still nothing.
I removed the analog nub, but the same thing happens. So it seems as if the nub isn't being detected at all. Is there mable a connection I missed when reassembling? Or did my analog and my r-trigger die at the same time when I took the thing apart?
Should I just bite the bullet and send it off for an $80 repair?
