USB Wifi Adaptor Setup Issues
Hey guys I'm having quite a bit of trouble trying to get my PSP to connect to my wifi adaptor and browser the web also for online gaming.
I recently just received my first ever USB Wifi adaptor also this is the first time I have touched on anything wifi. I have always used cable networking devices and I would say I'm rather experenced with cable networks but on the other hand Wifi I'm a complete newbie, I know the rough basics but thats about it. I won't be surprised if its something really simple that I'm doing wrong :p
Anyways I have a cable network with 2 PCs on it which are connected to a ADSL router. My PC is also networked to my Xbox and now I have a Wifi adaptor which I hope to connect to my PSP and alos my Nokia N80 which is wifi compatible. Have a look below for what my network looks like:
I have followed various guides from this forum also the Wifi Max tutorials because my Wifi adaptor (THIS ONE) uses the same chipset at the wifi Max. I also have the latest Zydas drivers installed.
The problem I'm having is my PSP will find the connection but when it tries to connect it says "A connection error has occurred. The attempt to obtain the IP address timed out."
I have tried everything I can think of and the same error I also think maybe windows own wireless software maybe be clashing with the Zydas software?
If anyone can help me get everything working I would forever be grateful also I will return the favor. I dont mind at all if anyone gives me real beginers step by step instructions, that cool.
Thanks in advance :Punk:
