Help!!! possible brick?!?!?!

So today,i was Workin with my psp using x-flash, and i launched x-flash from my irshell and did a system recovery with x-flash, and when it was done it goes to the setting where it says my system may be corruped, press o to restore settings i press o and my psp looks like its rebooting and it goes back to the same F**kin blue screen! i keep pressing o and no luck. i shut my psp off took out my battery put it back in and turn my psp back on Still no luck!!!! I can also still play my untold legends! brick or can it be saved? BTW, i have custom firmware and i try to go in recovery mode but it wont!

currupted font?? well i did download a font earlier, maybe thats the reason.

yea that'll be why/ You should NEVER actually flash the font to your PSP, use fontmod it saves them on ur stick

You can flash any font as long as you have recovery mode.

i dont use my psp to play most umd's i use it for mainly homebrew, music & movies. I think i consider myself as a homebrew fanatic btw

Edit: i think i made progress!!!!!! i kept pressing the o button but i then noticed that my mem stick starts flashing i take out the mem stick and do it a couple more times and now it shuts off! i turn it back on and the menu stays on for a whole 3 secs.!!!

my psp wont go into recovery mode for some reason, i have custom firmware but it doesnt do anythin, if im on1.5 and try to play wwe smackdown vs. raw will it tell me i need to update or just play the game?? im wonderin bout this but cant do anythin since my psp is dead, and i think spoofing does nothing kool, i cant load games or homebrew

Edit:i think i almost bricked my psp using x-flash cuz at times when i exit it will make the screen blank for atleast a good 5. secs then shut off, i turn it back on it shuts off again i take out the battery put it back in turn it lets me see my pic then goes blank with green light still on.

yeah kk but i was thinkin...if you dumped your flash0 and flash1 files...i was thinking you could dump a 2.0 update and flash it with x-flash (if possible)

i did do a complete firmware dump but then i used x-flash recovery to restore everything back to normal and when i exited it gives me the problem i have now

well now that i know putting in a game that requires an upgraded firmware doesnt do anything lets get more ideas ppl

i have an old memory stick that i think has dumped firmware... will tthat work for any other ideas

no its the same thing, hold button down. would this work, i put skylarks custome font in there and then the psp would read the fontmod file that included! would that help? & would i need a regular psp font???

I found this thread in a search for IRshell so that I could ask ahman if there
is a way I can make X-Flash able to tell if it was launched from IRshell or any
other shell. This is because I want to prevent it from happening.

Launching X-Flash from a shell makes it possible to open USB which is something I want to prevent in a future version.

Shells use resources that are assumed by X-Flash to be all available.
Transferring files via USB while X-Flash is running bypasses startup checks on user supplied files.
USB Mass storage mode and normal stdio operations performed by X-Flash
and other file writing homebrew don't mix.

Lesson: Launch X-Flash via KXploit or a no KXploit hack from the XMB only.

why does everyone tell me i should take my memstick out? wait no scratch that, i forgot to say that i replace the font file in x-flash with one i downloaded,and jus so everyone one knoes or hasnt been reading throught the second page of this thread, I have a custom firmware and my psp wont go into recovery mode, its the same way that everone else goes into recovery mode, i press the hold switch down, i tried taking out my mem stick and booting my psp,i think i tried all possible methods

i have a custom firmware by a guy at projectpsp as i am a member there too. his name is zenin and he makes theme editions for psp. he also made a custom frimware im using now i give u link scratch that. i cant give u the link now because their site is exeperiancing technical problems

have you thaught about autobooting x-flash using the config file 4 the custom FW? or even get dev hook running...
