PIPM Streamer - Which IP to use?
First off, I would like to thank the creator of this great program and I am constantly amazed by how many people are willing to spend so much of their time and effort and give it away for free. So thanks to all homebrew devs!
Now, my problem: I can't seem to get it to work. The IPs I am using are: on the psp's wifi setting, the external IP as "IP address", and the router IP as "Router address". For my port forwards, I am typing in my PC IP when asked for an IP address. In the pmp.ini file, I am using my PC's IP as well. I know my psp settings are correct, as I can acess the internet, but are my pmp.ini and port forward settings correct too? Because when I run the program and test the connection, it just says "testing..", and crashes. When I try to actually run the program It says current stream directory: " " (While I do have a media path set up in the PC program) And then after a very long time, it says " Error connection to host [PC IP address, my port#]"
Also, I have tried using my PC IP on my psp, and when I do that, I get an error message on my PC saying "There has been an IP address conflict with another system on the network" or something like that. BUT... When I run PIMP Streamer, I get "current stream directory: "" and then the error message without the long wait... so we're gaining progress? Doesn't seem to be enough...
Please help me solve my problem! This is driving me nuts! I am sure most of you know how it feels:Argh: :Argh:
PS. Ya think this guy over here ^^^ Knows that there's another guy bashing his head against the wall just like him on the other side? :humped:
EDIT: problem solved... forgot to change the PC ini port number.
