Firmware rev. 2.71
A few wireless problems;
I've set up the router, key, MAC address, DNS, IP etc etc, it connects to the router, but I experience a DNS error.
That's by-the-by however, the more pressing problem is Ad-hoc wireless gaming.
I can connect, play, host, join etc with my friend's and their PSP's. However, at random moments, I will lose connection.
Tried setting it to the same channel, turning off all power saving (including screen blackout etc), still have the same problem.
Could it be a problem with firmware revision mismatch? None of us has tried to 'homebrew' their machines.
They've just bought their machines, I've had mine for a while. Could they have different wireless chips in?
I've noticed a few people have had successes taking their PSP's to bits and re-seating the wireless cards. I'm a bit loath to do this, as it's still under warranty.
Any ideas anyone?
