Is it at any way possible at ALL to use a flash drive with a PSP? Like, Connect a flash drive via USB cable to a PSP, then have the PSP able to run things off of the flash drive. I'm wondering this because then I would have more space be available on my memory stick and flash drive.
Now, even if it's not possible yet, is it possible if someone were to program some homebrew for this? Cause I got lots of flash drives lying around, and if I could use those, that would be tons cheaper than buying a larger mem stick. Just a thought. |

Do they have a converter or anything like that though? Slip it on the Flash drive, then just use a USB cable to hook it up, boot up iRshell, and wah lah.

even if there are converters it wont work. the psp only acts as a slave. you would need a flash drive that acts like a master to connect to the psp.
there are usb hard drives with on the go support that can act like both and can transfer data to and from the psp with out a computer. thats the best you can get right now.

I think it's probably a hardware issue, though I bet with the right coder it could be done with software. It's nearly possible now with the new additions in iR Shell, however we're still limited by the need of an executable in the background to handle the connection; something that a USB flash drive can't do without some sort of OS on it. My first post made over a year ago was actually on this same exact topic, yet we still haven't seen much progress on the subject...
