I (stupidly) downloaded HEND and installed it in my PSP without disabling the HENC auto exec patch from 0okm. Now, when i boot my PSP up, i cannot get past the flashing screen, it goes as follows:
2-Red Flashing Screen
5-Red Flashing Screen
it just freezes there. I've tried to take the memory stick out before this and it just shows the XMB and a loading symbol in the bottom right hand corner, but i cannot control anything. It Does launch UMD's but that is all...
Please Help me, i bought a USB memory stick reader so i can change the files on the stick in necessary. My AIM is SHolland91.
I think you bricked it...
Try taking the battery out for five minutes then try again.
ok since the files are saved in the memory stick try taking out the ms and then see if it works
Well since you're getting a flashing red screen that means you don't have all the necessary files for HEN D to flash to the chip or you placed the files in a wrong directory.
Make sure you have all the necessary files from the HEN D archive placed in the correct folder.
I've heard of someone saying that the 0okm modification does work with the HEN D so its most likely just missing files.
Check out my [GUIDE] for more info.
Try renaming your "HenD" photo folder to "henc," doubt it will work, but its worth a shot.
Still not working. I've kept the battery and Memorystick out for 5mins, booted without memstick in, tried to quit to XMB from UMD, and more... im getting pretty pissed
looks like maybe u briked it
I LOVE 0okm!!!
I went to his site and found a program that automatically removes the wallpaper, letting me boot to the XMB and remove the crap...
Thanks for your help guys, and sorry for being N00bish
It was me who got it to work. For some reason, I can autoboot though. When HEN isnt running, I go to enable wallpaper and it sometimes flashes red(its already installed so probably a glitch), and then my psp restarts. Ok, now I can load my hombrew. YAY. But for some reason, I cant enable my wallpaper becasue when I do, I get the blue screeb that flashes and freeses my psp. I personallly dont care. I am willing to sacrifice a damn wallpaper for hombrew.
next time u put something in make sure u check ur whole directory before launching something, coz i didn't check everything and i lost my psp into the brick graveyard, but thankfully i can resserect with recovery mode.
