I have 2.71 SE-B. and I installed the devhook 0.51 version that didn't require any modifications to flash 1.
That went just fine, the only thing was that the buttons (X, and O) were changed under 3.02, even if I had used a 3.02 update eboot from the EU site for my devhook installation.
Anyhow, I read somewhere that if I would delete the system.dreg and .ireg from the memorystick folders (note: on the memorystick), then the 3.02 would build new ones with correct button mapping.
That wasn't the case, when there was the expected blue screen in the 3.02 under devhook and I pressed the 'O' button it wrote these files into my REAL flash 1 folder. I was really happy to see that my 2.71 SE-B did boot up as usual, bit it had caused a little odd effect under my 2.71 SE-B, I cannot save my wallpaper there any more, if I shut down the PSP and start it again the background is black instead of the wallpaper I have chosen.
Ok, I have now seen whenviewing my flash 1 contents using FileAssistant that the folders 'vsh' and the 'theme' folder below the 'vsh' are both missing now for some reason in my real flash1. I would guess that this is the reason to why the Set Wallpaper function always fails (the path to where it tries to save the wallpaper.bmp file doesn't exist).
The question is now: Can I try creating these two directories using File Assistant 0.4 on my flash 1 without causing some damage that is even worse?
I can live with this effect of course, but if it is something I could fix rather easy, maybe I should try? Would be grateful for an answer from someone that knows a little bit more about the File Assistants capabilities when it comes to creating directories on flash 1.
