I noticed today my PSP's wifi doesn't work anymore. The web browser won't work properly (when I try to open a page, it does nothing, and then after a couple of minutes says "the connection to the server has timed out"), and if I try the RSS feeds, the PSP just freezes. However, I do get the option to connect to my wireless network, and it appears it does connect (the green wifi light is lit, and flashes like it does when its sending and receiving data).
I think the wifi chip itself may have been fried, as I have been running the CPU at 300Mhz with 3.10OE (which from what I've read can make the wifi chip too hot). However, if that is the case, then how come the PSP shows it as connected to my wifi network?
If it is the wifi chip, is it easy to get (and fit) a replacement? (I've taken the PSP apart before, as it wouldn't load UMD's, and managed to fix that).
