Okay, this is not the first time my PSP has done this to me. It generally occurs from returning from being asleep. The screen is inverted for one and its like its drawing only every other line (interlaced), but if i tilt it forward (top closer, bottom away) it has a very weird looking rounded rectangle and when I look closely, I can tell theres a ghosting of what it's already displayed after it glitched. Currently, I am in the XMB, however it has done this in a game and a game through usbhostfs and irshell 4.92. If I had a good camera, I'd take a picture. Now USB isnt working in XMB, but I'm not sure if it's my problematic USB cable or if it's because of the glitch.
Model: PSP Fat PSP-1001 North America
FW: 5.00m33-6 + 1.50 Kernel Add-on
Notes: Self replaced broken parts (This is not my first fixed PSP, I have fixed several PSPs so it's not a matter of if I messed something up internally), Wifi light is broken, Messed up Analog Nub (needs a replacement of this little clear rubber connection piece for the nub), Installed FreeCheat into flash.
When I first fixed my PSP, it was at 2.81 OFW and after I fixed it, I put it to sleep and then when I turned it back on, I had the same trippy screen as I have now. So the firmware has nothing to do with it, I don't think.
Well, my PSP decided to get bored from just sitting there and it turned the screen off automatically and I just went to turn the screen back on, and it's completely normal now.
I have no idea why my PSP is doing this, it doesn't bother me, I just think it's really trippy. If anyone has any ideas on why this is occurring, I'd love to hear them. Feel free to ask questions too.
