yesterday i did something i shouldn't have done.
I was wondering what devhook exactly does so i emulated 1.50 on my slim with timemachine to see what devhook does.
But when i started devhook something went wrong.
The psp hangs and wouldn't boot anymore.
I reinstalled 5.50GEN-d3. It boots again now but when i start a game it said:
Cannot start this game. Your regioncode is not correct.
So i went back to DC8 and used nand tools to create a new idstorage.
It generated a random mac-address becouse i couldn't find the original.
I can now play games and homebrew again but i discovered some problems.
When i look closely on my screen it looks like it draws the screen some kind of interlaced. I can see horizontal lines in the screen when i move in a vertical way. This wasn't before. I don't see it when i hold my psp still. but when i move it a little you can see it clearly. Especially when the screen is a little dark.
Nevermind this. usbisoloader bug. fixed2)
I used to use usbisoloader 0.8 to play games from my HD with usbhostfs_pc. It always worked but noy it doesn't. When i try to start a iso it sais: Cannot open file disk0:/UMD_DATA.bin
I tried keycleaner after this. it daid it fixed one key but o don't know which one. but i still got those problems.
Playing isos from my memorystick works.
Using normal USB and PSPLink also works.
My psp model: PSP-2004
Date code: 7D
Motherboard: I'm not sure but it was the one just before the unhackable slim came out. i think is's supposed to be TA-088 v2 but DC8 hardware info said TA-85 v2 after the unproper idstorage recovery.
Do someone know how to fix it.
I ran PSPIdent and it says:
Mobo Type: Slim (02g)
Mobo model: TA-085 v2
PSP version Slim 1.1
I don't have a nand backup because i didn't expect that program would wwrite to it.
I tries IDStoragemanager to look what it looks like. I don't know if it's normal but a lot of keys don't exist or are 000000...0000000 for the biggest part.
