The PSP wont read any faster than the read speed of the MS Slot. Maybe it will read faster in card readers and PC's but not the PSP.
everything u save on the psp is saved as clusters , as cluster is about 16 kb big that means even if u save something less big it will take away 16 kb because thats how it is.
so if u hav many small files small clusters make it go faster.
but if u use for example big files such as is*s then bigger clusters would be usefull.
Sony has FAT16 support coded into the firmware, which is why we have a 4 GB limit on external storage. The MS slot supports FAT32, but if the code isn't there to utilize it, then what's the point?
