Yeah I remember that day. I just found psphacker and I downloaded NesterJ and tried to run it. The I got the 80002001 message and I was like WTF is going on. Then I read that only 1.0 could play homebrew and I was like ****. Then KXploit came out and that made me a happy man.

thats what blows about the loader, i have to take out the battery pack to quit it lol, otherwise i love it, it lets me play all my favorite old SNES games and still get the stuff 2.0 offers

no there isnt and it makes my hands hurt holding down the power switch for 15 seconds which is why i only used the eboot loader for about 3 hours and then downgraded again and said screw this crap

2.0's features arent that great i think.
browsers slow as heck
the ability to put pics as your backround is nice but i'd rather not have eboot loader .

2.0s features have become necessity now. I couldnt see my psp without the high-res backgrounds, avc, and browser.

I only upgraded because of GTA LCS and SOCOM FTB, the added perks are cool though, and homebrew is great on 2.0. Once they get homebrew working for the higher versions, i'll upgrade.

I only upgraded cuz of socom and gta also, i wish there was a way to play them on 1.5...that would rock cuz then i would have exactly what i want, which is a fully capable homebrew PSP and play the newest games on it!

I only upgrade to 2.0 cuz of the AT3+ support, sold my mp3 player so I was like w/e I also like being able to cange BG in a snap...huh hope I buy a new PSP and AT3 player after x-mas, does anybody feel bored/depresed right now...huh.

You forgot that 0.9 is going to support wifi soon which will be required for 0.3 of TYL. so Ha! back there buddy. you can exit with L+R+Start to return to the menu. When you get there you can press Start and it'll restart the PSP. plus you can take out the battery which the last time I checked doesn't take 15 seconds and doens't hurt.

1.5 does blow when compared to 2.x, but PSP Radio and a few other things are stopping me from upgrading again. I spent a few months with 2.0, but it got boring.

PSP Radio could be working in the next version, Fanjita guaranteed wifi so you could have PSP Radio in 0.9 I've been wanting to try it, But downgrading is too much of a burden if you are like me and have downgraded 23 times. So I don't want to worry about bricking my PSP.

no one else still on 1.0? i think 1.5 is crap, i dont see why i should risk loosing my psp by updating when the psp i bought works perfectly fine...

then again, i now have games at home that dont even work on my psp such as lumines which is 1.5 (in the UK it is anyway)... damn.. atleast crazy golf is 1.0

shame i cant find out if eboot loaders let me emulate 1.5 and other fw's on my psp?

1.5 rocks, I downgraded to it for christmas so I could get the most out of my memory stick. The two umd movies I got worked on it fine, and the firmware launcher allows me to use AVC video and the web browser. The only things now I can't use is ATRAC3+ and gta, and I'm sure they'll eventually be possible. However if 2.00 gets kernal apps then I will definetaly upgrade, but for now I'm sticking with 1.5.

i just got ridge racer, the second game i have found that is for fw v1.0

version changer? like sxt version changer 2.02? just downloaded it...
my psp version number has now been changed to say version 2.0...
now lumines (1.5) does not tell me i need to update but instead tries to load for 5-10 seconds then exits back to the psp's shell? (no error message?)

is there another program i should have used instead?

1.5 is kinda lame...
