Dood We got lots of problems, Starting off with Jay buying a pron site, I am so mad dood, you have no idea
What everyone should do is write down your MAC address and then you can always identify your PSP even if they reset settings etc.
With the power of the enternet, i can send a nuke the size of an ant your way! Causing catastropic melt-down. Mwa ha ha ha!!! Im seruous though, its people like you that tarnish society. The "scum" if you will. Get money yourself, not take someones supposedly hard-earned cash. Ive punched someone for taking my wallet, didnt even get in trouble for it. He go suspended though. :) There wasnt even money in it, i just hated the kid.Originally Posted by ProjectNemesis

Thanks to the following whose ever made me a sig/av.
One time in gym some kid would stop hitting me with his zipper and then he hit my glasses and broke them so I lifted him off the ground by his neck with one hand and screamed in his face and he ended up paying for my glasses...
Intimidation is the key to getting your stuff back
Post signs of somebody holding a missing PSP sign and their finger doing that little slice thing across the neck
Ad start a rumor that when You find anyone with a PSP your going to jump them with a metal pipe...Worx great
Thanks all you guys for your sympathy. On the bright side, I gave the school cop the details of it (Programs, Version etc.) so if someone tries to pawn it, I'll get it back.
I think I'm going to stay here though, help some people out. Plus my mom said she'll buy me another one sometime . Still debating over that and a laptop.
Word of advice to anyone that brings a PSP to school, keep it on you AT ALL TIMES. Don't let it out of your sight for even a second. That's all it takes for one of these pricks to get their hands on it.
Hope you get it back, I take my psp to school a lot i leave it in my locker but our lockers are pretty hard to get into, see weve only been in the new school for a week and they dont have a key so in my opinion they are pretty secure,
On that note I HATE people that dont have respect for other peoples things, like people that steal and ruin other peoples things, and then when someone disrespects something of theirs they flip out, i think every honest respectable person should get to punch people like that in the face at theor own will
thats why i dont bring my PSP At school, i just bring my GBA with a Flash Cart to school and my MP3 player (cd player)

Sorry. No Advertising
wish i could help...
A laptop might be a little harder steal
But harder to carry around
Weigh around the choices like a PSP with lots of stuff or a laptop with probobly not alot of extras due to the cost
If you need any help deciding let me know
Wow...I feel bad for you guys. I bring my PSP to school every day, and leave it in an unlocked locker in an unlocked changeroom for an hour when I'm in gym every day. I never worry about it.
But then, I've never had anything of any value over $1 stolen from me.
Yeah, I just tell my teacher im going to leave my stuff in the girls locker rooms because I know they wont steal it...and then I hide out....
well last time someone stole something from me i went to the teacher and told them straight up he stole it and you told me to come to you befor kicking some a.. anyways teacher said there was othing he could do so when i beat the crap out of the kid and they said o you should come to a teacher blah blah i was like hey i did and they told me to deal with it my self..
look on there face was priceless... didnt even get in trouble but the teacher did then i beat the kid up the next day till he gave what he stole back... lets just it was basicly over nothing but princapal.. i got my hokey card back..
i have it feels good one kid borrowed something of mine broke it and was like who cares.. was a cd player when they were 100+ each so when i broke his pen he fliped out and i 1 punched him in front of the teacher knocked him out and went back to work and the kid was yelling and screaming and me and i knocked him out cold siting down the teacher was just laughing because he knew about the cd player too because he was there when i was all pissed off about it..Originally Posted by ArcAngel9

Yeah, A PSP is a great accessory to bring to school for Bus rides..Long presentations..Between class music..
Just keep it on you
I feel bad for anyone who gets there's stolen.
It doesnt even matter that "OMG you should have kept it on you"
or "Blahblah should ahve locked it up"
Its just the fact that stupid people still want to take other peoples things..
Oh god I hate this world
Exactly. People keep saying stuff like "Why did you leave it in your locker?"Originally Posted by sumpaintballer41
I mean, if they wanted it bad enough, they would have found some way to steal it from me no matter where it was, right?
No word from the cops yet...

Your vaio Is faster then any desktop? Why would you make such a stupid claim? You buying a sony vaio automatically makes you not know much about computers. I garuntee my computer will score higher in ANY benchmark.
Amd 64 3000+ OC'd to 2.6ghz, SLI 6800 ultras. 2gb ram
Dood chill, I got my vaio as a birthday present from both my mother and fatherOriginally Posted by Roflsir
I actually have gotten it quite fast
I only have a 2.4 Ghz, so your desktop might run a program faster, But I dont have alot of money and have managed to get a very fast computer using only optimization of speed techniques.
And 2 GB ram is good, I have the same
As well as 1 gb virtual ram partitioned away on my Hard drive
Not to mention a ginourmous paging file.
I didnt ask for a competition, I was just saying my laptop is fast
And please don't test my computer knowledge
Vaio's are reliable and slim, Great to carry around with me at school
I love my laptop and I believe it was a great deal
Its sad to see wat the world has become, i hate having to not being able to play my PSP wherever and whenever i want (when suitable that is) without someone yanking it from you.
honestly a GPS tracker on the PSP would solve this problem
Yeah like a MAC finder
My advice is to take a pistol to school.
Aim at somebody "DID YOU STEAL MY PSP!?" "NONONONNONO" *****s the gun* "ARE YOU SURE?!"
Damn, how did you know my idea. -goes back to board- Time to draw another gore filled scene. :)
I bring both my PSP and my DS to College/Uni on occasion...but nobody would steal it. And if they did, hell will pay. We have the coolest security guard ever. He'll help you, but if you find your **** stolen first, he'll turn a blind eye if you beat the crap out of him outside.
But ipfreely man...that's really crap. Maybe you should do a little money for safe return thing...say, $50? I mean, if the police can't do anything, maybe you should do something yourself >.> And, surely there's a way to detect a remote device by tracking it via MAC address, right? I mean, all it'd be is a modified GPRS system, technically.
There are tracking devices out there.
For as little as 60 bucks you can have a tracker on it (not including the device to find it)
batteries last about 2 days on them... but hey if you realize its been stolen in an instant you can go find it
also would personaly Scar every device you own that you cary around with you After that have photo's of it to let police help you find it.
my psp has an insignia BURNT into the battery cover so just looking at the outside I can tell. of cource I dont do things silly like take it to school and leave it in a backpack.
If you have to leave it any where leave it in an Insured location, like your car. when people break into your car and steal something, the insurance company will mostlikely pay for it.
Flaunting it attracts theives... dont do it. sure if you are in the parking lot and have it out playing a game thats fine... but just showing it off, not smart.
Good luck with getting it back. Legal advice will help you some schools can be held liable for the situation. If all elce fails tell your school administrator to anounce it through the school
"a Play Station Portable was stolen from a locker, if you can help find this a reward will be offered to you for your aid. If you have stolen it you can drop the device of no questioned asked."
Some times people will comply but even if they do drop it off you can press charges... FYI
