Today I dropped my PSP at the bowling...
The thing is that it seemed to be fine, but when I tried to start it up, I noticed that the on/off switch was... that's right... BROKEN!!!
Well, first I felt like an idiot, but then I started to think about it, and there's two alternatives...
1. Send it to Sony, have it gone for two weeks, get it upgraded to 2.6 and skip the whole homebrew thingy (I don't have GTA)
2. Brake the warrianty, keep 1.50 (and the homebrew), and live with that it maby don't work next time...
So what do you think? Send it in or try fixing it? (I'm not far too good at soldering, but at least i'm good enough to fix the most electronics, PSP might included, I would guess around 40% chance that I'll be able to fix it nicely, and 80% that it will work at all)
I fihured out a 3rd alternative:
3. Buy another PSP and return it with the old PSP inside, while I downgrade the new one (risky, but might work, I know a place where you can just still might buy a 1.52 PSP)
