2Gb sticks on ebay
I decided to look up 2 gb memory sticks on ebay, to see what they were going for. The sticks were going for insane prices. Prices that are unreasonable low. I saw one go for less than $10!!! So my question is, How do tell the fakes from the true great deals without buying them first? I'm looking for a really great deal but I don't want a fake. My poor 1 GB only has about 2 mb left. :icon_sad:
Read this about fake vs real.
All I did was search, so next time you are about to ask something please search first.
I have been gone for a long time. I didn't realize someone had posted that thread. thanks for your anyway. even if you are being rather rude.
That was rude?
I did try to say that in the most polite way.
I'm sorry. i had no idea you guys had been annoyed with this same question over and over. But I should have given more details. I was referring to a sandisk memory stick. I don't like to buy sony's products.
Also, the way you wrote the comment, it made it seem like were you annoyed by my question.
However I still need an answer for a sandisk. Do you know the signs?
P.S. sorry for calling you rude. just had a really rough day at work.
Well, a real one will look like these pictures: Link 1, Link 2 and Link 3
Any variance from those would obviously be fake.
I tried finding one that didn't look like that on ebay, but I haven't come by one yet.
You still need to be careful though because sellers on ebay could use an image of a legitimate pro duo and when it arrives it won't look anything like the image and will be a fake one. If the sellers do not care about selling dogey merchandise then they are not going to care about the copyright of an image on their advertisement.
On EbayUK overhere the 2gb's are going for £40.
I got my 1gb off ebay in the summer for £55.
1gb's are now £35, 2gb's used to be like £70.
