Nope cause it cant. Why do the eLoader and Cheat Device set off a flag how The eloader yes maybe cheat device though is a big stretch of the imaganation. Im pretty sure they just changed some basic syscalls
Ok I updgraded. It works. Some stuff runs rather slowly. I'm not sure if I can turn down the quality of the flashes but I'm impressed it. It's running my demo and it can STREAM music. I'm so happy :D
Whats the demo like?
You have a blob but you dont control it you control the world with L and R to tilt it. And if you need to get through a hole or a small space you press O and you split into smaller sizes. The number of wich is determined by the size of the blob. The blob grows by collecting fruits. To me it played alot like sonic very fast good music and fun.

Probably not since i get the main reason they did this update was to block piracy in some new way. IE only small idiosyncrosies from game to game kept us from loading every single game on 1.5 as far as i can tell
i just checked network update and it showed up so i am guessing that it is out im gonna update

I know that people expect alot from sony when they come out with a FW update due to the fact they are know homebrew-less and could use something from them to fill that void
The only thing I wish they would of added and I would of probably been just fine would of been an option to clock UMDs to 333 since I refuse to play GTA at 222 since it stutters and the edges arent as smooth. Multiplayer maybe since it never ran at 333 period. But idk just think Sony should add that as an option
To be clear, in my post about "It's not like...", both of those comments are actually meant to be sarcastic. I guess I thought italics would be too harsh. I really don't mind being able to only carry around three movies at a time on my 2 gb stick. (I own a laptop, so transferring back and forth isn't really a problem on vacation unless I'm on an airplane ride for more than six hours and I just haven't gotten enough after watching three movies in a row).The tv adapter I agree is a huge plus though (but once again, I can use the divx movie on my psp or laptop so no prob getting it onto a bigger screen especially with the laptop's tv out). My only major complaint was only the size of the screen and the format of the video for the ipod currently. There is the complication of the size of the psp as well though. It's all opinionated. I still want a nano. :icon_smil
I may upgrade from 2.60.
If Sony release more demo's frequently I defenitly will!

The flash support sucks ass. No filters, and it slows down if there are too many tweens on the screen. Its just flash 6, and the PSP's procseeser.
Oh and miniputt works that 2 working, what a great selection of games, no offence but 2 is slightly downputting, I thought SONY would have thought of a way to make it actually compatible with GOOD flash games!!!
So i guess 'Tactics Arena Online' won't work? :D

If that needs a good flash player and a good processer speed to be able play it then no way, I wish SONY would make a good firmware compatible with hombrew and flash sites/games and homebrew flash games which you can download the latest versions etc..., but for some odd reason they have to make these the lamest firm's ever!
