I always thought Nintendo was winning the portible wars, but, apparently not, according to data released by Sony and Nintendo. While the DS crushes the PSP in sales in Japan, globally, the PSP has defeated by DS by rougly a million sales.
Of course these sales were taken two months ago, so the numbers are going to increase, but the point is, in sales, the PSP is doing better, considering a PSP is $249, and a DS is $129 (regardless of units sold, Sony still profits more)
[PSP] 2006/03/31 - 17.03 million units (Japan: 4.70 million / USA: 6.39 million / Europe: 5.94 million)
[DS] 2006/04/03 - 16.6 million units
