Kernel can be accessed on 2.5 and 2.6, so why is there no love for 2.5 and 2.6 users who do not wish to downgrade?
I'm talking about SNES9xTYL ME and the upcoming versions of PSPVBA, by Zx-81, which will also use the ME. Unless i'm wrong, it seems they forget the ME can now be used on 2.5/2.6 with Kernel, because they won't make ME enabled versions for those firmwares.
I was very disapointed when I read that someone had discovered a way to downgrade 2.5/2.6. Somehow I imagined that this would kill any new hopes of people looking for a way to better the 2.5/2.6 homebrew scene because "why work on 2.5/2.6 when people can downdate?" thus killing any new homebrew discoveries or apps for 2.5/2.6 users.
Why are there few homebrew apps/games compatible with 2.5/2.6 that access Kernel? "Because people can downdate," should not be a proper answer.
