Okay, if I don't find a solution for this, I'm gonna rip my eyes out. Alright here's the deal. Whenever I push cetain parts of my faceplate, my analog will go balistic. This can get extremely annoying during games like Socom, because when I try to move foward, the analog stick is constantly pushing backwards, so I just stand still. And sometimes the analog doesn't even respond when I push it certain ways. And sometimes right might go slower then left, up might go super fast, down might go super slow, it's seriously screwed up and I can't stand it.
Here I hosted a video of what I'm talking about. I loaded up SnesTYL 0.4.2, because the menus have analog support. You'll notice that when I press my d-pad down once, it might actually go down twice or three times. And when I press down lightly on certain parts of the faceplate, the analog constantly goes down or right.
And then once day I finally noticed that from looking at the back of my PSP, my top-right screw was missing! Whenever I lifted up the faceplate in that corner, the analog would constantly go left. So I took a screw from my bricked PSP to replace it. But... what's this? I keep tightening and tightening, but it keeps going? I open up to find out that the screw DOESN't REACH TO THE INSIDE OF THE PSP. I have NO idea how the f**k this happened, it's the same EXACT screw from my bricked PSP, but it's too short? WTF?
So I took a longer screw from my brother's camera and it actually tightened. But I'm still having the same problem. This also so how the PSP hardware is such a pile of goat ****. If there's a single screw lose, or a tiny speck of dust somewhere, the whole thing gets ****ed up. And I forgot to mention that I switched THE analog stick with my brick PSP's and I'm still having the same problem. I tried dusting everything and cleaning everything and nothing.
Please be a good person and try help teh poor little shrimp.
