The homebrew scene... oh man, while it is fun to have all of these games available to us, it really isn't helping Sony's sales or profit at all. Did you know that with every PSP system sold, Sony makes little to no money, and even loses money? It's true. We're not helping Sony at all. We're not helping the PSP 'beat' the DS. Not even a little bit. Sony made everything for the system, the firmware, hardware, they make the runtime libraries, they make the interface standards, they honor the warranties, and we just ***** about updates.
It's THEIR system. That's just like *****ing about how parts off another car won't work for your car. Without Sony, there would be no PSP, no PSP homebrew scene. I support homebrew, and stop worrying about the updates. So, we might have to have a mod chip installed, maybe a chip could be developed that makes use of the MS slot or the USB slot? This is the most likely thing to happen, because we're determined to not give up homebrew. If you see a game you like for the PSP, buy it. It's not hurting anybody. Some of you act like Sony's PSP library is so crappy, just so horrid that you'd just rather get stuff for free. Just dish out the money just like you would for any other console. Updates aren't the end of the world, and we'll find a way around them. There is no such thing as a sure thing, so just support the company that made a kickass system.
Spread the word. The success of the PSP is in our hands. Not Sony's.
