I thought reading books on the PSP would be another nice addition, but found only a few text readers on the site. Most suffer from word wrap problems, but one, the Pixie E-Book Reader seems to do a good job with files in a ".book" style format I was previously unaware of. It also reads text files, but suffers from the same word wrap problems as all the rest. (By the way I have used several of the fixes mentioned on these forums for such word wrap issues, but only had a minor amount of success.)
Now this Pixie program has it's own set of tools to convert "html" style documents into this ".book" style, but the readme simply states, in a somewhat condescending manner, that if you can't figure out how to do it... "too bad." Seriously:) I did find a program to convert PDF files into HTML, now I just need to be able to figure out how to use the Pixie tools to convert the HTML into this ".book" format.
It involves going into a dos command structure which leaves me, frankly, clueless since I am barely computer literate.
If anyone has had any success with the conversion tools used in the Pixie Reader Hack, I was wondering if they could post an example of how they may have gotten it to work?
Thank you very much for your time.
P.S. I hope this is posted in the right place!
