this idea has prob been posted but what if someone made the network update icon to actually check for custom firmware updates. that would be pretty cool. is it possible? what do u guys think?

Personally, I think that would be cool, but a waste of effort. Plus, it's two programs that does the upgrade, so you'd need to write a wrapper program, too.

That would be dope. I think that's an amazing idea, but like the previous person said, it takes two programs; it's not as easy as updating with a Sony firmware, since you need to read the readme and follow instructions, while a Sony firmware is standalone.

you would need a pc to checksum + move DXAR unless you have irshell but it would be good

There's no reason that the wrapper program couldn't do that itself.

acually a guy can give answer to this...

-Dxar Ready
-Program to make a new folder (thats how the network update work)
-Place Dxar on Eboot OR Place another eboot with the network update
