Default Why sony doesn't like homebrew?

I hope this is the right forum thread.

I really don't understand why sony doesn't want you to run homebrew anyway. I do understand about the illegal iso/psx, but all the other stuff doesn't make any sense to me.

I guess the only reason they don't like it is because homebrew is free and sony tries to milk all the money they can from everything.

Does anyone know for sure why sony doesn't like homebrew?

When they allow Homebrew,
We WILL find a exploit again gaining kernel acces.
Kernel acces = ISO's.
ISO's = Money loss.
Money loss = Bad for sony.

Homebrew means less UMD sales and that is bad. And Sony milks the most money out of everything because they are a big corporation and it is normal for a company to maximize profit. Also, they do not give a crap about your entertainment. Once they have your money, they could care less about you. Enough with these god damn threads.

He got it right on the money.

The thing I find funny is that Sony is releasing all of these new updates that our old decryptors still work on.
