I can decide that for you, (hint - it isn't going to be LUA). Singstar for the PSP would be possible, but a pretty high expectation from a new group. One logical step in progression to Singstar would be a digital guitar tuner, and the PSP doesn't have one of those yet. It would be reasonable to aim for that, and then onto a program like Singstar. |

Honestly if you want to go through with this project you need someone quite a bit experienced. Im not a coder but right off the bat you should have realized that this project is not possible in LUA. Coders don't usually pop up out of the blue, your gona have a hard time finding a coder, just let time pass by and if your lucky someone might port it, other than that I believe that there wont be any coders willing to join, trust me I should know.

Mm... well, I suppose that could be explained better in my language, since I'm not English.
It'd be "Yo me encargaria de todo aquello relacionado con el sonido", I suppose it'd be "I would do all sound-related work", like the songs, the sound effects (SFX?), backgrounds music, etc etc. But yes, you have reason, I'm not very competent in coding, since I don't know barely anything about any language, I can only do the graphical and the sound parts, and because of my DJ experience, I prefer to do the sound part. |

you'll start learning c and make this advanced project your first app? yeh right, definately not happening.
try working on little things for a while build a team of friends and make a few projects then attempt something massive like this, its not gonna be easy even with the pc source. and lua shouldnt be mentioned because you have more chance of teaching a monkey to make a game like oblivon then making singstar with the mic in lua

That what everyone Is trying to do help. Please listen start with something small. So that One you become familar with the basics. Two It will build your confidence level in yourself. And also in others. Three maybe you should find a team to join first then you can see how to piece all those different code into one usuable app.

I'm on a team, I'm learning C and LUA, I'm in other non-psp projects, etc etc etc.
In addition, I want to develop an application, which I explained before. Maybe it isn't the best way to do it, but at least, it is a way to do something ANYONE has tried before (or at least, QJ forums show me this). |
