can anyone tell me a good program to reduce the file sizes of pictures/audio?

You can make music files smaller if you make them to Atrac3 files. To do that u can use for example Sonicstage. And why would you make the pictures file size smaller???

I can't use sonicstage to transfer between PC and the PSP because anything before SS V.3.2 is incompatible with the PSP, right? If you could recommend some other programs maybe i'd be very grateful

Im sorry but i only know Sonicstage to make atrac files

Hmm for music you would need to move to a different codec/format for that. I think the smallest format for music would be mp3 but their might be smaller formats for music. The only program that I know of that dose change music format is adobe audition 1.5 which I use for editing music. A mp3 is probally the best format that is less size then a normal aduio file and still has a good sound.

For pictures if you dont care about having a full size image to fit the psp screen you can just make the image smaller size using adobe photoshop. Now when you save it you should choose a bmp since that to my knowlege it the smallest photo format. Not sure if psp can support bmps but if they do you will lose some cripst to the picture making it look different.
