Default Can Ipod connect to PSP?

I have a IPod with 10 extra gigs and was wondering if I could modify the wire to connect to a PSP and transfer files back and forth? I would do it myself but if it doesnt work then Im out 40 dollars for the two wires it would require. I dont need to be able to have the PSP be able to run apps or movies off it, just transfer files to the memory card. Can anyone help me with this?

You go ahead and try. Fumbling with my $250 psp and my $250 ipod mini would be foolish.

No, sorry, it wouldn't work.

The reason is that both devices are set up to be used as hosts (or clients, it doesn't matter). So they are both designed to be accessed, but not access the other device in the transfer. So, you'd have a hard time transferring files.

Actually, on a topic in Speculation, someone found ou how to link PSP to Ipod. What they did was make a custom cable between PSP and an Ipod with PodLinux or whatever it was.

Didn't someone also post a link to a box that acted as a host between devices so you could transfer files. Can't remember what it was called but i remembering it being expensive. I'll add the link if i find it.
