First Download The fireware.
Hook up your psp up with the usb cord.
Go into the psp folder and then go into game Folder.
Make a New Folder called UPDATE Its Has to be CAPITAL LETTERS!
Then when the download is Done Put The Fireware Inside the new folder.
Disconnect your psp from the computer.
Put your AC adapter into the psp.
You must have at least 50% of battery power.
Go to the game icon and go all the way down to the memory card games.
Click it and it will say psp update.
Click it and you will begin your Update.
Make sure your ac adapter is hooked up
if it isn't the update wont complete.
When the ugrade is finished you can delete the psp update off the memory card so you can have more space again.

For the record, you don't have to create the UPDATE folder...it does it automatically.
