anyone else bought a psp when it came out with version 1.5 and then you had to send in your psp for repairs and when you got it back it was version 1.51. No wonder the lady on the phone was so nice. She said just send in your broken psp and we'll send you a brand new one. I did get a brand new psp but now it's version 1.51. Sucks to be me.

sent mine back 4 times, and i got a v1.5 psp everytime. i got lucky this time but i probably wont next time cuz sony isnt manufacturing v1.5 psp's anymore (atleast i think theyre not).

How'd you break yours that many times?

1st time - dead pixel
2nd time - dead pixel
3rd time - internal damage inside the screen (not done by me) and dead pixel
4th time - dead pixel

My God. You sent it in like 4 times because of a dead pixel? oh my God! i have 3, and im completely content. dead pixels are normal. wow i laugh at that

i odnt care if my psp is messed up, i'd just save up for a new one so i can keep my precious homebrew, if there is a wanted umd.

to tell u the truth i didnt really care about the dead pixels either but my psp was really scratched.

But at the same time the box doesn't say...
PSP1001 Value pack: 100-220V adapter, psp 1001, 32mb ms, pouch, headphones with remote, 1 dead pixle.

Although i've got a dead pixle to but mines in the corner.
