Is there any way 2 make my PSP to freeze up repetedly so i can take my PSP back 2 walmart so i can go back 2 firmware 1.5 instead of (1.52) which is what i have)

So you want to kill your PSP so you can return it for another one? With 1.50 on it?

All I can say is you better make sure your Walmart actually has some old 1.50 units in stock before you do this.

Hmm, you want to ruin it? Try updating to 2.0 and then pulling the plug or the memory stick if you have another one to spare

Start upgradeing to 2.0 then maybe your battery will accidental fall out of your psp when your upgradeing...

I really hate threads like this. This sort of bad-consumer behavior is what makes already high prices stay that way, or go even higher.

man you guys are unbelievable all you gotta say is this isnt workin at walmart and i lost the reciept. i work at my local wm and they always have ppl that dont know nuthin bout electronics. i dropped mine one concrete and it was like split so i squeezed it together and they still took it bc they have too much money to think about a black rectangle. by the way my wm is sold outa 1.5 if that bar code thing is true

pop the case off, and clip a few things? Or is this tamper proof?

Other than that just make sure your battery is dead, and take it in and say it doesnt work. They shouldnt try to plug it up, they'll just accept once they notice it doesnt come on.

Also make sure you bought it from wal*mart i tried to turn in a ps2 before and they called in some numbers and said it came form toy R us in which it did, man the security these days.

You people are putting WAY too much effort into this.

Simply state that the PSP intermittently locks up. Wal-Mart will simply take it back. They almost never check to see if the thing is actually broken.
