CW Cheat is being widely used on Syphon Filter: Dark Mirror. Whenever I go online there is always a player hacking, and causing displeasure in my gaming experience. And I was just wondering if anyone else has had this same issue because of this application.

* Hopefully I can get a hold of the developers and put a stop to this. So any help/support would be nice

You should check out Socom for the PSP. About every game theirs a code user.

There should be a way to regulate this application and sony hopefully will take notice and at least put one moderator out there.

There are moderators. I've been banned before for hacking in an respawn glitch room with like 3 other hackers.

dont play gun games on the psp then, i think it kinda stupid with auto aim for socom, and the psp does have a 2nd analog so if i were u, ill just play on the PC.

truth is, no developer cares...as long as they sold the game to you thats pretty much where support stops. or never started

Afiser that's where your wrong , developers would fix the cheating prob if it meant more people would buy socom to play online ( which it would ) . Fixing problems for the gamers not only ensures few complaints but increased Sales.

I won't touch the next socom title unless there are efforts made to fix the hacking. I play Socom 2 for about 15 minutes online and never did again because of the hackers.

Zipper is not that type of game company. People have been hacking the ps2 versions with CODE 9 for years with NO BODY GETTING BANNED. I used to hack too on ftb2, but never in ranked games, but then i noticed that everybody else would hack in ranked games, so i just stoped using the game overall because it wasn't fun to play with and against cheaters in ranked games

yes it is, and worse, no one will do anything about it. i guess the thing to do is wait until the next iteration comes out and then play the original online.

even when the slim psp/ next iteration comes out the old one still exists and will continue to cause havock to the online gaming experience.

can't play a game, within 5min you'll run into a hacker

and all those here saying: I only use hacks when they hack, or something like that, you are the same lowlife scum that make the games less fun.

the only thing I see happening is a client Anti cheat. Most of the cheats are easely recognisable by the signals the game receives (how fast they move, where they move, how fast they shoot etc...) so baisicly, a server with anti cheat would have a player connected with the anti cheat running and have adminpowers. If the plugin detects signals of a player cheating it should a) kick and/or ban the player or b) if a isn't possible, then it should send a message to the admin, so he can kick the correct person

but who is going to code that? if the guy(s) from cwcheat have any heart, they'd make a decent anti cheat, but I don't see it happening

Why isn't there a check and balance system where someone regulates the homebrew application before it is released to the public.... on a side note if the M33 team put in the iso blocker to help regulate the homebrew in their next CFW Sony might be more friendly towards the homebrew scene.

Duh, the homebrew communtiy has been robbed ethically, I haven't seen it anything hopeful for a long time.
