Hello.
Im new here. i've been downloading some stuff off this site for my friends PSP, and i downloaded a GBA emulator (im not sure which) and it didnt work on his PSP. do you guys know what is the best GBA emulator that will work with a PSP 2.6 running eLoader 0.995 "Kriek"? I tried one and it just crashed and another crashed when he tried to boot the roms.

so, can you guys tell me what is the best GBA emulator for eLoader 0.995 "Kriek" on a 2.6 PSP?

You would be better off downgrading to 1.5 then going to a custom firmware so you can run homebrew in a more stable environment.

well, its not my PSP, its my friends. he i've suggested downgrading to him but he doesnt want to risk bricking his PSP or messing it up..so do u kno any good emulators for GBA?

Use gpSP 0.9. It's the newest and best Gameboy Advance emulator out for the PSP.

it says 1.5 EBOOT in the title..so idn..the othr one i found says SOURCE and the other is 1.0 EBOOT
give me a link if there is a different onme i should use

It really doesn't matter. Just the 1.5 file has 2 folders and the 1.0 has 1.

1.00 style EBOOTs are required for Eloader I believe.

They're not but they work better than kxploited ones.

hey guys..i tried the 1.5 and 1.0 gpSP 0.9 files. neither worked..eLoaded brought up a message saying it crashed and it was a black screen with white text flashing...all i could catch was that it was error 00000024 i think. :S

how do i fix it?

PS: i also tried loading the emulator with no roms in the directory and that didnt work either

DID you put the GBA bios in there..It not going to work without the bios..

also, wouldnt the emu boot without it and roms would just not work cuz its not there?

also, did you renamed the bios properly
if yes, and if still doesn-t work, then you can do nothing
except downgrading, tell your friend to do it, just be sure he

and he will be fine
show him the qj brick thread caused by downgrading
