Hey. I tried to open psptube.cfg file by pressing CTRL + F, but it didn't work. So does that means I have to do it on my PC? Or in PSPTUBE Folder under Folder352? I am confused...
Also, where can I find dev id to put in my account username that I have with youtube?

ok here is what i have/did:
put psptube folder in 340game folder
Edited the .cfg file to include my dev_id
Set to 340 kernal in recovery
made new connection, no WEP or anything
Set to infrastructure in XMB network settings
No prx's or plug-ins enabled
ok here is my problem:
I launch the psptube icon it goes to a black screen that says
"Loading config file...done
There is no network setting. You have to set one"
After a few seconds it boots me back into XMB
Does anyone have a solution for this or experienced the same thing initially?
If you found a way around this please let me know..:Argh:
i got the app to work but the videos have no previews is that normal?

you open the cfg file in notepad...just open notepad and drag it there. use CTRL + F to find the line that says Dev_ID = "". look in the first post and follow the rest of the instructions. Hope I helped.Originally Posted by TruePS360iiFan

try to add the network using your psp web browser, with all automatic settings. then go back to the application and try connecting to the new network on the list .Originally Posted by chokeyspsp

ok..try putting the files in the GAME folder enstead..it works for meOriginally Posted by chokeyspsp
man!!! same thing happens in the game folder, I really appreciate you trying to help.
the first post in the thread has been updated..Originally Posted by chokeyspsp
for those of you that get the no connection available and is says to make one, what you have to do is have more then one connection set in the xmb. so if you have your real connection already made then just make up a bs connection and it should work. make sure to select your real connection when you start psptube;)
i have good news for the ppl that psptube no works (sorry for my english)
Well is very easy.. go to your net config and put DHCP all in mode auto.. /GAME352 kernel 3.52... that is all guys.. good luck
lol.. i did as you said and named the connection fake, and when i boot psptube now, the only connection coming up is fake.Originally Posted by Antoniocool
Weird problem, this thing just sits there trying to connect, it finds my connection settings, but when I click connect, the dots just keep coming. No idea whats causing this.
Join nintendo vip and get star points.
i dont know that works for me. try restarting your psp. connections are listed in abc order so since your fake one is named fake then name your real one connection 1. thats my setup. if that dont work then try to make another one or two fakes.Originally Posted by chokeyspsp
I got it working!!!!! yes!!!!!!!! I had made a (real not a fake bs one) duplicate of my connection and it showed up when i launched psptube...(it automatically put a _0 at the end of it...for instance my connection name is 2WIRE344 and it made the duplicate 2WIRE344_0) IT WORKS!!! thanks for the help guys, be sure to put this in your tutorial man..thanks again
Doesn't work for me. It initializes my connection, but as it's going through authentication/getting an IP, it says "failed" and exits the app. I think it's because they didn't test this with a TA-086 using an encrypted connection... TA-082/TA-086 seem to take a bit longer to power up the wifi.
[I fail @ life]
Does this only work with custom firmware.
I can't seem to get it working correctly.
I am currently running on 3.40 OE.
It connects to my network brings up the app, I see text displaying no video up at the top of the screen. Then my psp becomes frozen and resets itself.
I get and Initilazing networkd Falieur any onw know how to fix it?
sry for bad spelling
Im on 3.40*v3
1. the obove 2.0 version didnt find connection in GAME
2. the 1.50 version did find connection in GAME/GAME150
3. it connectet (tried with wep and without
4. it shows a no video screen, and the wifi LED lightens all the time
5. then the psp shuts down...
Finally got mine to work:
See if this works for you 3.40 OE users,
1.Make sure your kernal is 3.40 in recovery mode.
2. Get the 2.00+ Folder for the download.
And setup the rest.
