ok im getting the 8002013A Error i did what the guide thing posted by the topic starter i browsed all my websites in my favorites and its still not working. I have a WEP code on my connection i dont want to take it off. And i am running in CFW 3.40 OE-A and i have the 200over file in mine. i got the developer ID working.
If your getting the error, exit the video and keep trying while tapping circle. I got a 15 minute long MGS4 gameplay video to work this way lol. And i thought it would only work wih videos like 2~5mins long lol..
um im not even getting past the black screen with white letters that says initializing network...FAILED.

i figured out how to get it working for 3.52 m33..
first, take the psptube folder out of the 200over folder and put it in your "GAME352" folder... not "GAME"
then set your kernel to 1.5 and set all cpu speeds to 333
then find a connection that doesnt need a wep key or anything at all and make sure it works by using the internet browser.
then click on the psptube from you r game folder and find your connection. press "o" to select the connection not "x"
then once its all connected, a "no video" screen will show up. press "o" to search for videos.
hopefully that will work for people using 3.52 m33

for linksys anyways:
default username: admin
default password: admin
then goto 'Wireless' then 'Wireless Security' then in drop-down menu click disable....then 'Save' settings
You will then have to create a new connection after this.
oh wow i just changed my wireless settings to no wep code and now it still says it failed even after i saved it!!
WEP works with this app
if you are getting the 8002013A or initializing network...FAILED, you need to move it to GAME3XX folder
If when you click your network it say cancel then you need to press O as select not X
did you create a new connection under 'Network Settings' in the XMB after you turned off WEP?

Mine works under WEP.
Here's my config:
Firmware: 3.40 OE-A
App Version: 200+
Folder: GAME340
Kernel: 1.50 (not that it matters much)
That works, I'm using a home wireless WEP connection and its working great.
You know it makes since that the PSP needs YOutube to run in a seperate app to work rather than the in the Browser due to its lack of RAM. I just hope the developer decides to update this or release the source code!
PSPtube works fine but audio and video is not synchronized. Anyone also get this?
Ok, i have a soultion for pepole that are having sync issues.
Set your Buffer to 100. This will have psptube wait to play the video untill it has fully loaded.
I am also not seeing the thumbnails. Can ANYONE see them?
This is a great start for this program. Maybe once/if the source is released we can get a nice user interface, maybe play controls such as replay, rewind, fast forward. Or even favorites.

audio and video no so synced how to fix?
ARGH IM TRYING TO watch Smosh videos and the sound is like 20 seconds off only like 20 seconds into the video. This sucks its like the video is playing at half speed. Will there ever be a fix to match sound and video. cause it really irritates you to watch a video and hear stuff before it happens...8)

Small FAQ
1. Make Sure you are using the 3.52 M33 Series firmware
1a- If preset copy the PSPTUBE folder to your "GAME352" That means NO "GAME150" or "GAME"
2. Exit ,Load recovery and proceed to Configuration--->> "Game Folder Homebrew" :Change your current Kernel to 3.52 (Although Ive been Using 1.50 Kernel and seems to load faster. The 3.52 Kernel Actually loads the default Sony Keyboard which Utilities Sony Modules If you haven't edited the keyboard use 1.50 OR 3.52 your choice.)
2a. For Just sake Disable Plug-ins Not sure if this would make a difference but would best be left disabled. :tup:
3. Make sure you Have a Network Connection meaning --> Infracture Mode--->> Modified Connection . ( I personally Use a WEP key on my Connection so if you experience problems It must be your router )
4. Load PSPTUBE ALPHA
4a.It should Detect your Connection and Press "O" to load your connection make sure your WLAN switch is on.
4b. USE "O" instead of the usual "X" configuration.
5. Should Actually Load the default OSK from Sony and should have a predefined "PSP" address.
5a. Type a Typical name for your youtube Video and press "X"
6.Should load mini PG with names of movies for display to watch one just press "O"
6a. If Google.cache error occurs you can always return to the menu by holding the "X" button for 1-2 Seconds and clicking on it again until it loads. ( Verified this myself and works LOL :tup: )
6b. If video loads make sure to be close to a Hotspot my videos seem to load pretty fast . Also if experiencing any problems while playing video press the "start" button for the video to load .

Set buffer = 7 to 100 in the cfg file? You need to wait untill the whole video is finished buffering to watch it though.Zitat:

nvm, I reinstalled it and works now with 100 buffer!
Maybe it has something to do with the cache.
does this program work with WPA (TKIP)?
